FOOD AND DRINK II. THERE IS – THERE ARE (comida y bebida II  “hay”)

There is: significa “hay” y se usa en oraciones afirmativas con sustantivos en singular. Ejemplo: there is a tomato

there isn’t: significa “no hay” y se usa en oraciones negativas. Ejemplo: there isn’t a tomato

is there..? significa “hay?” y se usa en oraciones interrogativas. Ejemplo: is there a tomato?

there are: significa “hay” y se usa en oraciones afirmativas con sustantivos plurales. Ejemplo: there are two biscuits on the plate

there aren’t: significa “no hay” se usa en oraciones negativas. Ejemplo: there aren’t two biscuits on the plate.

are there..?: significa “hay?” y se usa en oraciones interrogativas. Ejemplo: are there two biscuits on the plate?
